IAEP is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1975. Donations are tax-deductible. 

IAEP consists of a multidisciplinary society of professionals whose experience and practice relate directly to enhancing environmental quality.   

IAEP regularly presents educational seminars, workshops, and webinars on the following environmental areas:

Air Quality, Biology, Chemistry, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Compliance, Environmental Law, Geology, Groundwater, Hazardous Waste, Impact assessment, Industrial Hygiene, NEPA, Public and Environmental Health, Remediation, Risk assessment, Sustainability, Transportation, Urban Flooding, Water Quality, Wetlands, and more.

IAEP provides professional development certifications to attendees of its educational seminars, workshops, and webinars;

IAEP unites practitioners in business, government, and education in the fields of environmental planning, research, management, and evaluation through our social networking gatherings; 

IAEP promotes public and professional informed awareness of issues affecting environmental quality;

IAEP incorporates environmental concerns in planning and decision making; and

IAEP provides research grant awards to students enrolled in environmental studies programs.
