How to Join?
Pay online through the link buttons below (an online service fee will be applied at checkout); or
Mail in your Printable IAEP Membership Application Form 2026 (to download PDF and mail in) with your check.
Once payment has been made, please email your professional resume to [email protected] so that your membership application will be approved for the proper category. Corporate Members should email a link to their website for use on our Corporate Member profile page.
If you are renewing your membership, you do not need to resubmit a resume unless your employment information has changed. Renewal payments can be made through the link buttons below.
Levels of Membership
General Membership
$100 Annual Fee

Available to individuals with a minimum of three years of experience as an environmental professional
-
General Members can attend Seminars at the Membership Rate, have voting privileges, and are eligible to elect directors to serve on the IAEP board.
Associate Membership
$100 Annual Fee
- Available to individuals who are, or actively seek to become, involved in environmental professional activities, and do not meet the requirements of a General Member.

Associate members can attend Seminars at the Membership Rate, but do not have voting privileges and cannot elect directors to serve on the IAEP board.
Student Membership
$20 Annual Fee
- Available to those individuals who are pursuing a career in an environmentally related field.
- Student members can attend Seminars at a reduced cost.
- Student members do not have voting privileges and cannot elect directors to serve on the IAEP board.

Emeritus Membership (New)
$50 Annual Fee
To qualify as a Member Emeritus, an individual must:
- Be retired or no longer employed in the environmental profession.
- Have previously worked in an environmental field aligned with IAEP’s mission.
- Submit a Member Emeritus application or request for status change.
- Be approved by the IAEP Board of Directors.

Corporate/Government/Institution Membership
$500 Annual Fee

Available to corporations, foundations, educational institutions, government agencies, trade groups, and other organizations supporting the environmental profession that have one or more employees or principals who meet the requirements of General Membership. Corporate/Government/Institution Members receive all the benefits of General Membership.

Corporate Memberships are allowed 1 vote in IAEP elections. (View the list of current Corporate Members!)
In addition, the Corporate/Government/Institution Members receive:
- Corporate/Government/Institutional Website Link on the IAEP website.
- General Membership for one of its designated employees
- Floating Umbrella Privileges - Up to five employees (including the designated employee) may attend programs at the General Membership Rate
- Complimentary job postings
